CAST BRONZE BELLS & TOWER CLOCKS
City Hall Tower - Folsom, California

A Maas-Rowe Digital Chronobell II activates the bells and controls the tower clocks as well as the electronic carillon so the clock hands, chimes, and carillon music are synchronized. The system has a battery backup so the time and schedules are retained thoughout power outages. Daylight savings time changes are automatic.

Maas-Rowe provided Eight Cast Bronze Bells, Four Illuminated Tower Clocks and a Symphonic Carillon for this tower.

Each bell is equipped with an internal electric striker and an acoustic isolator mount to minimize transmission of unwanted striker noise to the structure.

The bells were cast in Europe using the traditional bell bronze alloy of 80% Copper and 20% Tin that provides a beautiful bell tone when cast under just the right conditions.

Westminster Chimes or any of Eight alternate Clock Chimes can be played hourly or even quarterly. The bells can also be pealed and tolled for happy and solemn occasions.

These bells were cast with a "smooth" finish, which is the most economical type. Bells are also available with cast in place decorations and inscriptions.
